Your session includes a choice of 8 designer cakes and 4 decor themes (block letters of your child’s name, balloons and bunting all set up for you), professional posing and artistic direction, natural-light portraits and studio lighting setups, multiple outfit changes, private changing rooms and refreshments, professional retouching and digital copies, with museum-quality fine art prints and framing available.

Cake smash sessions are most popular around your baby’s first birthday, from about 10 to 13 months. By this age most babies can sit up steadily and are curious enough to explore the cake. That said, we have photographed older toddlers beautifully too — the session is always paced around your child.

Most cake smash sessions run around one to one and a half hours. This gives time for clean portraits before the smash, the cake smash itself, and a gentle clean-up, without rushing your baby. If you are combining it with a family session, allow a little longer.

Yes. Our cakes are made by our artisanal cake designer, Caramelloz, and can be made eggless, sugarless or dairy-free on request. Prefer to bring your own cake? That works too — just let us know in advance so we can plan the setup.

Bring a change of clothes for baby (and for parents — it gets joyfully messy!), plus their favourite snacks and a soft toy to help them settle. Outfit changes are welcome and we have private changing rooms. Many parents bring a special birthday outfit for the clean shots before the smash.

This is completely normal and we are very used to it. Our photographers are patient and experienced with little ones — we go at your baby’s pace, take breaks, and gently guide them towards the cake. We recommend introducing cake textures at home in the days before so it feels familiar. Genuine reactions, tears and all, often make the most memorable photographs.

In the days before the shoot, let your baby touch and taste a little cake or soft food so the texture feels familiar. Keep them well-rested and fed before the session — a short nap and a small meal beforehand usually means a happier, more curious baby. We send full preparation guidance once you book.

Absolutely. Parents often join for warm family portraits alongside the cake smash, and these are some of our most treasured keepsakes. Many families also combine the cake smash with a full family session on the same day — just let us know when you enquire so we can plan the time.

Yes — this is one of our most popular bookings. Many families add a family portrait session so grandparents and siblings can be part of the day. Let us know in advance and we will plan a session length that covers everything comfortably.

Yes. Our 2,400 square foot natural-light studio is fully air-conditioned, breastfeeding-friendly, and has a relaxed lounge with complimentary coffee, tea and Wi-Fi. There are private changing rooms for outfit changes and clean-ups after the smash.

We provide everything — your chosen cake from our 8 designs and your chosen decor theme from our 4 options, including block letters of your baby’s name, balloons and bunting, all set up before you arrive. You just bring your baby and your smiles. You are also welcome to bring your own cake if you prefer.

We are at 219 River Valley Road, Level 2, Singapore 238277, a five-minute walk from Fort Canning MRT and accessible by bus along River Valley Road. Parking is available at UE Square and along River Valley Road.
