Ladies:
Makeup: The focus of a portrait is often the eyes, so any eye makeup should be applied delicately. Neutral colours will work best. A rich lip colour can also spice up your look.
Hair: For ladies with more length, a blowout will add some volume to your hair. If you have short hair, take the time to comb and style it, keeping any flyaways in place.
Gentlemen:
Makeup: Light makeup to cover blemishes and uneven skin tones can help bring out facial features in portraits.
Hair: Use products like hair gel or hair spray to create a neat and polished appearance.

- Pre-Shoot Planning – we’ll contact you to discuss the photoshoot details, wardrobe advice, how to prepare, what to bring, what to look out for.
- On the Day – arrival at studio, comfortable lounge and changing rooms, meet your photographer, shoot begins in a calm, relaxed atmosphere, outfit changes (if preferred).
- Post-Production, Keepsakes & Delivery – we’ll be in contact for selection once the photos have been processed, retouch, decide on fine-art prints/albums/gifts, set a date for viewing.
