Get To Know Delun
What do you notice first about someone when they step into your studio?
The first thing I notice is how people are built and how they’ll fit together as a group. It’s a small detail, but it’s how I make sure the final photo feels naturally put together, not forced.
What’s your superpower as a photographer?
Getting people to fully relax in front of the camera. Once that guard drops, everything else falls into place.
Which type of session makes you happiest?
I love shoots where the family bond is obvious, warm, playful, and full of good-natured teasing between them. That’s when the magic happens.
How do you help someone who says, “I’m awkward in front of the camera”?
I tell them to just relax and be themselves. There’s nothing to worry about, I’ll guide them through every step.
What’s a photo you’re most proud of, and why?
There’s one I love where grandma’s face is full of surprise and joy, her grandson is kissing her cheek even though boys are usually shy about that, and her granddaughter is leaning in contentedly beside her. With rain falling in the background, it all came together perfectly.
Describe your shooting style in one sentence.
I keep things easy and relaxed, for everyone in front of the camera.

We had a family photo shoot session with Delun who was incredibly friendly and forthcoming. He accommodated to our childrens’ moods and gave them time to warm-up, giving them space to explore the studio setups and toys, have snacks in between to keep the good spirit and with his playful way he managed to establish a very natural and comfortable environment for every one of us during the session. It felt like we were there to play while he gave us ideas on what we could do, all the while capturing our joyful moments as a family. the pictures turned out so wonderful. He really captured the genuine laughter and spirit of our family when we enjoy spending time together. definitely would recommend 10/10.
