Company Group Headshots: Keeping Them Consistent

Something about it doesn’t feel quite right, but it’s difficult to put your finger on why. None of the individual headshots are bad. One was clearly taken somewhere else. A few have different lighting. Someone has a different background, a different crop, or a noticeably different style.

Individually, they’re perfectly acceptable.

Most companies do exactly this. They book a session, photograph everyone in a day, refresh the page, and the result looks excellent.

During corporate sessions, we record every detail of the setup: the lens, camera height and distance, the position and power of each light, the background, the direction and softness of the shadows, even the catchlights in the eyes. Everything is logged under your company name and kept on file.
